Clayton is probably our most modern door handle thanks to its sleek, flat-surfaced lever (the front-facing surface still has a subtle curve to it for a really pleasing overall feel).
This version includes a low-profile, long backplate with a built-in thumbturn.
The handle comes with a sprung mechanism inside which is strong enough to take the weight of the solid brass and stop it sagging over time. It’s designed for use with our tubular latches and locks or our bathroom mortice lock.
There’s also no danger of it coming away in your hand – we’ve engineered the backplate and lever to be inseparable.
Satin nickel has a fine brushed grain that gives it depth and catches the light softly, without a mirrored shine. It shares the same warm, versatile undertones as polished nickel, just more understated, and hides fingerprints well.
