We’ve designed our Southbank Scandinavian window latch for use with timber casement windows.
It’s a two-part design. A small plate fixes to the side of the frame, and a pivoting latch lever screws to the front of the frame, hooking over the plate. Pull down on the ring and the lever draws the window shut.
The tension of the latch can be easily adjusted during installation, so the fastener will suit your window exactly.
Antique brass is what’s called a ‘living’ finish because it reacts to the air and moisture around it, causing it to darken (especially in the areas you touch most). We’ve given it a head start by ageing it by hand, so it has that antique look right out the box.
