100mm Grip Spindle Kit (x5)

If you are having any difficulty with your Mortice door handles working loose, we have an improvement kit. The reengineered spindle provides a grip ensuring your handle stays securely attached to your door for years to come. It should take less than a minute to update the handle spindle on each door. Corston is unable to offer a fitting service in the home but would like to support the process by offering upgrade kits to anyone who needs them.

Grip spindle installation guide

1. Remove old Spindle 
2. Insert the new grip Spindle 
3. Reattach the Door Knob & tighten the grub screws
4. If the handle is loose, rotate the Spindle by 90°
5. When the handle feels smooth and robust, remove the grub screw and apply threadlock
6. Reinsert the grub screw and remove any excess threadlock with a damp cloth
