To make sure it stays easy to turn, we'd recommend using a lightly sprung latch.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThere’s also no danger of it coming away in your hand – we’ve engineered the backplate and knob to be inseparable.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAntique brass is what’s called a ‘living’ finish because it reacts to the air and moisture around it, causing it to darken (especially in the areas you touch most).
